Playground Equipment in Emerson Park

Emerson Park is a neighbourhood park on Columbia Avenue at Lee Street. It serves nearby residents who want to enjoy some greenspace, family time or play time.The playground equipment needs some freshening so a new generation of young people can enjoy it.
The City is asking our youngest residents to tell us what they want to see in the playground. Moms, Dads and other caregivers, please complete the below survey with images of what we could include in our playground refresh. We can’t wait to see all those great ideas!
The survey is open from Friday, April 23 to Friday, May 28, 2021. Please visit this page for future updates. The playground equipment replacement is planned for 2021.

Emerson Park Playground
The City of White Rock is replacing the current playground at Emerson Park so a new generation of young people can enjoy. The new playground design has features and theme that corresponds to “Playground Equipment in Emerson Park” survey that the City launched in the summer of 2021 on the Talk White Rock platform. In addition to a new playground, the project will also provide a refresh to the surrounding landscaping and upgrade the current irrigation system.
