City Council Community Forum Survey

I would like to see a better format for the Community Forum. The water topic took up a lot of time and was covered pretty thoroughly but here were too many other topics and not enough time allotted for thorough amounts questions and comments . I don't consider the last list of topics as having being dealt with properly and these have to be revisited.
The format of the forum was a little too formal with staff and Council presenting themselves as they would at a regular Council meeting.
Perhaps a workshop format could be implemented for the first half with various tables hosting a few different topics. Then the second half could be question and comments addressed to staff and Council with an open mic setting. I feel there just wasn't enough mic time in the second half of the original forum as was shown we several people had to object to not being able to ask questions at the end before they were allowed to do so.

What festivals and events would be welcome on the waterfront?

I am very concerned that the new ramps down to the beach are to steep. It is a challenge for older residents and those with limited mobility are unable to get to the beach. It would also be a problem from anyone In a wheelchair, even one of the innovative new models designed to access the beach, to safely get to the sandy beach.
