Marine Drive, West Beach, one-way lane closure, barricades

The City of White Rock temporarily closed one lane of traffic on Marine Drive from June 7 to Aug. 12, 2021, to extend patio space for restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic.

City Council made the decision to reopen the closed lane, after the Province moved into Step 3 of BC’s Restart plan, which allowed restaurants to open at 100-per-cent capacity.
