The City of White Rock is planning for the future, and we’re doing it together with you. We're building a vision for a new Community Hub: a modern, inclusive, and accessible space where civic services can come together under one roof, right here in the heart of our community.

This isn’t just about a building. It’s about creating a place that reflects White Rock’s values, supports daily life, and serves future generations.

We want your voice at the table.


Where We’re At

In spring 2025, we launched a series of surveys, events, and conversations to explore what the Community Hub could be. Thousands of residents have already shared ideas, hopes, and concerns — and we’re using that input to shape next steps.

Here’s what’s happened so far:

✅ Survey 1: Community Needs and Services

Open: April 30 – June 11, 2025
Explored how residents interact with City services today and what matters most in a new civic space.

✅ Survey 2: Space Use, Amenities, and Location

Open: June 16 – July 11, 2025
Focused on preferences around location, use of space, and early priorities.


What’s Next?

Survey 3 will explore key priorities and trade-offs — like how to balance cost, space, amenities, and public benefit — based on real-world options from our consultant team.

Survey 3 will launch August 18, 2025.

Your feedback will directly shape how the project moves forward.


How to Stay Involved

Over the coming weeks, you can take part in:

  • Online surveys
  • In-person Open Houses
  • Pop-up events around the City
  • Community workshops and focus sessions

* “Pop-up events” are short-term public engagements that are held at various locations within the City of White Rock that usually last just a few hours. The purpose of a “Pop-up event” is to provide the public the opportunity to ask City Staff questions about the Community Hub and the surveys. Unlike City-hosted Open Houses, “Pop-up events” are intended to be informal and spontaneous.
